Abstract

A study to evaluated the effectiveness of Planned Teaching Programme on knowledge regarding First Aid Management of Epilepsy in children among primary school teachers in selected primary school. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of schools’teacherknowledge on first aid management of epilepsy. This study included a group pre-test and post-test designed for each experiment to assess the knowledge of primary school teachers before and after the planning intervention.The target uses the criteria used to select the model. This educational model has primary school teachers in Kanpur. 60 sample collected by using non-probability convenience sampling technique through structured knowledge questionnaire, the data was collected and analyzed by using descriptive and statistical analysis. The results of the study showsthat pre-test mean knowledge score was 7.65 with SD 2.77 and post-test mean knowledge score was 14.32 with SD 1.78. Paired “t” test value was 18.08 significance at df=59, p>0.05 level of significance. Positive hypothesis H1 was accepted and Null hypothesis H01 wasrejected.The study concluded that Planned Teaching Programme was effective and improved knowledge regarding First Aid Management of Epilepsy in children among primary school teachers.
