Abstract

Virtual Machine (VM) migration plays a crucial role in optimizing resource allocation, enhancing load balancing, and improving fault tolerance in cloud computing environments. As cloud platforms become increasingly complex and demand for scalability rises, the ability to move VMs efficiently across physical hosts becomes critical to maintaining system performance and availability. This paper presents an in-depth assessment of various Virtual Machine migration systems, focusing on their performance in terms of efficiency, cost, downtime, and resource utilization.
