Abstract

Chronic tonsillitis can impact individuals of all ages, including children and adults. If an individual shows elevated blood IgG levels and experiences frequent tonsillitis, a prolonged treatment is required. In certain situations, if IgG levels stay persistently high, an otolaryngologist might suggest surgical treatment. A small number of studies indicate that individuals with chronic tonsillitis exhibit increased serum IgG levels, probably resulting from continuous antigenic stimulation. Following a tonsillectomy, these levels generally diminish. Homoeopathy provides a comprehensive method, tackling constitutional problems instead of merely concentrating on the tonsils alone. The purpose of this initial investigation was to assess the effectiveness of different homoeopathic treatments for chronic tonsillitis. The main objective is to evaluate the serum IgG levels of patients before and after treatment and to analyze the age and gender distribution of those most impacted.
