Background: Bypassing the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and preventing systemic adverse effects, nose-to-brain medication administration is a potential non-invasive method of delivering therapeutic substances straight to the brain. This strategy has drawn a lot of interest in the treatment of neurological conditions including epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease, where the selective permeability of the blood-brain barrier frequently renders traditional drug delivery techniques useless.
