Background: Calotropis procera and Salix alba are medicinal plants traditionally used for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. These plants are widely recognized in folk medicine for treating conditions such as pain, swelling, and inflammation, though their mechanisms of action remain under-researched. Objective: This study aims to explore and compare the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of extracts from Calotropis procera and Salix alba to assess their therapeutic potential for managing pain and inflammation.
