Abstract

Syringocystadenoma papilliferum in eyelids is an uncommon benign lesion that can be misdiagnosed as a cancerous skin lesion. Clinical evaluation is usually insufficient to make a diagnosis, and histopathology is mandatory. Herein is a report of a female patient who presented with a left lower eyelid lesion later confirmed by histopathology as syringocys tadenoma papilliferum. Consecutive reporting of these lesions may help healthcare professionals diagnose and manage them promptly.
